1952年12月15 日,经四川省人民政府批准,四川省文史研究馆宣告成立,至今已有50年的历史。这50年,是四川省文史研究馆取得丰硕成果的50年。文史研究馆是一个具有统战性、荣誉性的文史研究事业单位。它是在新中国成立初期为安排部分有文史专长、有名望的非中共老年知识分子而设置的机构,体现了党和政府对非中共老年知识分子的重视和关怀。在民主革命时期,团结关怀非中共老年知识分子一直是党的统一战线的重要内容之一,曾在革命与建设中发挥过重要作用。在社会主义革命和建设时期,团结关怀非中共老年知识分子,实现社会安定团结,调动他们的积极性为具有中国特色的社会主义建设事业服务,仍然是党的统一战线工作中不可缺少的重要组成部分。
On December 15, 1952, with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government, the Sichuan Provincial Institute of History and Cultural Studies was proclaimed 50 years ago.
