介绍了等离子转移弧工艺(PTA)硬化金属表面的技术。该工艺是在金属基体上堆焊一硬质表面层,提高其原有的耐磨、耐腐蚀性能。等离子枪中,一非消耗性含钍钨电极作为阴极,在阴极和阳极之间引发电弧,从而有很大的能量传送到工件上。等离子转移弧表面硬化系统包括三层气流:等离子气体、保护气体和消耗材料输送气体,具有转移弧和非转移弧两种弧模式。指出了该工艺的局限性并介绍了在一些工业部门的应用情况。该工艺在汽车制造、石油开采和精炼、发电、塑料生产等部门应用广泛,取得了良好的效果。概述了PTA表面硬化的发展前景。设备的改进、新材料的应用以及自动化程度的提高将会使这一技术在更多的应用领域得到不断的拓展。
The technology of PTA hardening metal surface is introduced. The process is to build a hard surface layer on the metal substrate to improve its original wear resistance and corrosion resistance. In plasma guns, a non-consumable thoriated tungsten electrode acts as a cathode, initiating an arc between the cathode and the anode so that a significant amount of energy is delivered to the workpiece. Plasma transfer arc surface hardening system includes three layers of gas flow: plasma gas, shielding gas and consumable material conveying gas, with transfer arc and non-transfer arc arc mode. Pointed out the limitations of the process and introduced the application in some industrial sectors. The process is widely used in automobile manufacturing, petroleum exploration and refining, power generation, plastic production and other departments and has achieved good results. The development of PTA surface hardening is outlined. Equipment improvements, the application of new materials and the degree of automation will make this technology in more applications continue to expand.
