1949年以后,侦探小说这一文类基本消失。但从文学格局发展与演变的动态化过程去考察这一消失现象及其后续问题会发现:旧有小说类型的消失,并不意味着自此在中国当代文学格局中,以案件作为表现题材的作品会彻底消失,此时“当代涉案题材小说”开始出现并承担起案件题材在文学活动中的书写与表现,并开始呈现出“严肃/通俗”两条并存的发展线索。这种双线格局的形成,既是对案件书写题材的继承,同时又是一个整合的过程。
