大连会议以前,我厂的技术档案是分散在各车间,技术室、基建科等部门保管的,有的放在个人抽屜里,有的放在麻袋里,不仅档案与资料没有区分开,并且有的档案也不完整,查找利用非常不便。去年十二月底,区委传达了大连会议的精神后,厂党委及时地进行了研究讨论,并决定发动群众收集整理散存的技术档案和技术资料,以建立和健全技术档案工作。随后我们便用十天的时间集中力量突击收集整理了十年来散存的技术档案和技术资料。共整理出技术档案三百一十八卷(其中蓝图一百二十七卷),技术资料九十五卷,技术图书一百二十套。建立了档案室,配备了专职干部,从而改变了过去的混乱现象。
