研究南海国家,不仅靠本地语言记载的史料,中国的文献记载也提供了“他者”的视角。以《申报》为例,19世纪后期中国内地有关星马的知识来源主要如下:一是回国人士的口述,二是转载其他报纸新闻,三是来自星马地区的论述,四是来自厦门的星马讯息。这四种来源构成了19世纪后期中国内地读者建构星马想象的信息源泉。 Studying the South China Sea countries not only depends on the historical materials recorded in local languages, but also from the perspective of the “other” in the Chinese literature. Take the “declaration” as an example. In the late 19th century, the sources of knowledge about the starbucks in Mainland China were mainly as follows: first, oral remarks by returnees; second, reprinting other newspaper news; third, expositions from the region of Starma; fourth, stars from Xiamen Horse message. These four sources form the source of information for the readers of Mainland China in building Star Horse imagination in the late 19th century.
