The 6th Plenary Session of the 16th Central Committee of the Party made a decision on several major issues regarding the building of a harmonious socialist society. People’s mediation work is one of the focuses of grassroots basic work of judicial administration. How to play the role of people’s mediation, a legal system with Chinese characteristics, in building a harmonious socialist society is the starting point for us to do a good job of people’s mediation in the new period.
