大多数埋设在可固土层中的桩是要把作用于桩头的轴向荷载传到支承介质上去,文中对作用于桩的下拉力与轴向荷载实例作了详细研究。该例报导了由于边载与轴向荷载的联合作用使桩受到破坏的情况,文中也论述了下拉荷载与轴向荷载的相互作用以及两者联合作用对沿桩身的力的分布的影响,为了经济地设计桩基础,即使预料会产生大的固结沉降,也不是所有桩的设计都得考虑负表面摩擦力,文中对提出的实例作了详细研究,建立了桩基础设计必须计及拉力时的控制准则。
Most of the piles embedded in the fixed soil layer are required to transfer the axial load acting on the pile head to the supporting medium. In this paper, the examples of the pull-down force and the axial load acting on the pile are studied in detail. This example reports the failure of the pile due to the combined action of side load and axial load. This paper also discusses the interaction between the pull-down load and the axial load and the effect of the joint action of the two on the distribution of forces along the pile. In order to economically design pile foundations, even if it is expected that there will be large consolidation settlements, not all pile designs must consider negative surface friction.
