The load spring attachment is another retainer that is different from the precision attachment and achieves direct retention and aesthetics. It relies on the load spring piston embedded in the abutment gap gap adjacent to the concave area and play a role in the retention. When the prosthesis is worn in, the piston compresses the spring and is inserted through the largest diameter of the tooth.
