本试验的目的是研究豆科牧草种子中原有的含钼量和用钼酸钠溶液浸种后使其含有较高的含钼量及在播种后牧草对施钼与不施钼的产量反应、植株中的浓度及固氮的影响。试验在盆栽中进行,土壤是怀塔基州的粘壤土和北部的棕色粘土,含有较高的固定态钼,pH为5.4。试验是用从市场买来的不同含钼量的红三叶草、白三叶草、百脉根及苜蓿种子,种在500克土的盆子中,基肥用不含氮和钼的营养液,出苗后两星期施用钼酸
