漳州市地处福建东南沿海,闽南金三角南端,毗邻厦门、汕头两个经济特区,东望台湾南邻港澳,自古为闽、粤、赣交通要冲。1985年漳州就被国务院列为全国沿海经济开放区,并升为地级市。现辖二区一市八县,有121个乡、镇、街道。全市土地面积1.29万平方公里,海域面积1.86万平方公里,总人口470万人。1978年党的十一届三中全会后,漳州市法院审判机构迅速建立和健全。
Zhangzhou City is located in the southeast coast of Fujian Province and the southern tip of the Golden Triangle of Fujian Province. It is adjacent to two special economic zones of Xiamen and Shantou. It looks southward to Hong Kong and Macao of Taiwan and east of Fujian, Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces. In 1985, Zhangzhou was listed as a national coastal economic open zone by the State Council and upgraded to a prefecture-level city. There are two districts and one city under the jurisdiction of eight counties, there are 121 townships, towns and streets. The city’s land area of 12,900 square kilometers, sea area of 18,600 square kilometers, the total population of 4.7 million people. After the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Party Congress in 1978, the trial organs of Zhangzhou City Court were promptly established and perfected.
