针对传输控制协议(TCP)协议在长延时网络中性能较差的问题,提出了一种新的传输控制协议。为了解决连接开始阶段发送窗口增长速度慢的问题,协议中采用了名为“疾速开始”的启动策略来取代传统的“慢启动”策略;另外,为了减少反向链路的带宽占用,避免由于反向链路数据拥塞而造成前向链路数据发送速率降低的问题,协议还采用了周期ACK应答策略,应答周期与发送返回时间相匹配。仿真结果表明,这个新的传输控制协议不仅能够迅速增长发送窗口,提高链路带宽的利用率,而且能够大大降低反向链路的带宽占用。
Aiming at the poor performance of Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) protocol in long-delay network, a new transmission control protocol is proposed. In order to solve the problem of slow growth of the sending window at the beginning of the connection, the protocol adopts a startup policy named “Quick Start” to replace the traditional “slow startup” policy. In addition, in order to reduce the number of reverse links Bandwidth occupation, avoiding the problem that the data transmission rate of the forward link is reduced due to data congestion on the reverse link. The protocol also adopts a periodic ACK response policy, and the response period matches the sending and returning time. The simulation results show that this new transmission control protocol can not only rapidly increase the transmission window, improve the utilization of link bandwidth, but also greatly reduce the bandwidth consumption of the reverse link.
