黑河市处于高寒地区,年平均气温在-1℃以下.最长结冰期173天,最大冰厚1.48m。一些水工建筑物,如水塔、工作桥桥墩等常被静冰压力破坏。黑河市水利局在黑龙江省水科所协助下,用聚苯乙烯硬质泡沫板作保温材料,防止建筑物周围结冰,从而防止了静冰压力对水工建筑物的破坏。经3年实践考验,效果很好。该法比人工破冰方法经济,可靠,施工也简便,为寒区水工建筑物防治静冰害,开辟了新的途径。
