传统的英语课堂教学采用的是以教师为中心的教学模式。在课堂上,教师传授知识,力求详尽透彻,学生被动学习,没有主动思考,更没有运用所学语言知识进行交际的活动。在高职英语课堂中,这种枯燥的教学模式使学生逐渐失去了对学习的兴趣。现代教学理论所倡导的是以人为本的教学理念,强调课堂教学应以学生为主体,教师需转变角色,使课堂成为师生交往、积极互动的阵地。任务驱动法教学就是这样一种模式.强调“做中学”的教学方法,强调从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,关注学习的过程.注重学习者的主体作用,强调生生之间及师生之间的多边互动,使学生在完成任务的过程中,通过实践、体验、参与、合作和交流等方式实现任务的目标,感受成功,从而培养学生运用技术的能力。
Traditional English classroom teaching is based on teacher-centered teaching mode.
