A two-dimensional array of two-dimensional photonic crystal with hexagonal lattice was designed. The energy band calculated by the plane wave expansion method shows that the dispersion curve of the cavity mode in the coupled band is more flat in the photonic crystal plane. The transmission spectrum of the electric wave in the direction of Γ K. Compared with the single-defect photonic crystal cavity, the cavity mode transmissivity of the coupled cavity array structure increases by more than three orders of magnitude while the group velocity decreases by one order, resulting in a result of 0.007 c The wave effect has potential applications in the construction of miniature tunable optical retarders and low-threshold photonic crystal lasers.
