本文对地震谣言和地震误传事件的某些特点及其对策作了概括分析研究和探讨。文章从含义、产生原因与背景、传播途径和社会经济影响等方面分析了地震谣言和地震误传各自的特点及其异同;并对它们的相应对策作了阐述,包括:既要有科学根据,又要注意政策性,及时进行公开辟谣;调动地方各级地震机构的工作积极性,加强地震科学知识的宣传普及教育;切实执行抗震加固计划;本着“内紧外松”的精神严守地震趋势会商的机密;特别应根据有关规定严禁泄露或擅自发布未经批准发布的地震预测预报意见;提高地震预测水平和地震预报的准确率;同时还应进一步加强对地震社会学有关地震预报社会经济影响的研究。本文另附地震谣言和地震误传事件的典型调查报告摘要六则。
