In the shabby alley of Hongsi Village, Xiaohongmen Township, Chaoyang District, Beijing, the reception hall of the people of the Supreme People’s Court and the appeal court of the Supreme People’s Court are the same gates. In the crowd of grievances, Li Zhuang seemed relaxed: an outdoor sportswear, his hands in the jacket pocket. Accompanied by his lawyer, deputies to the National People’s Congress Chi Zhaosheng and his son Li Ya Tong, he was clearly separated from the area of petitioners. On crutches, elderly people dressed in military coats held the petition and hobbled past him. On the screen of the filing hall, they complained about the “1975 prison” name, waiting for the called number.
