短信写手在进行短信创作时,最初大多是抱着一种游戏的心态。此种游戏不仅仅是文字技巧与形式的表面揉搓,更含有精神上的游戏、嘲弄,是一种审美的游戏,一种摆脱了强迫、物质需要与社会束缚、支配的自由活动,是不带任何功利目的的自由活动,浸润着人生的谐趣与语言的韵律之味。但短信文学从诞生起,就暗含与商业合谋,希望凭短信赚钱、梦想一夜成名,亦是短信写手最显明的心态。利润与虚荣的蛊惑导致短信文学商品化运作过激,写手创作心态失衡。任何一种文字的目的性过强,都将摧毁其作为文学文本的可能性,最终沦为文字生产。
