通过几何相似比1∶3的水模拟实验,对安装不同结构的挡墙的中间包内的流场进行研究,计算钢液在中间包的平均停留时间(RTD)。结果表明:中间包采用“U”型挡墙,平均停留时间较长,夹杂物上浮得到较好发展,两侧水口响应时间及峰值时间差别较大。“V”形挡墙比“U”形挡墙更有利于中间包内夹杂物的去除,很好解决了两侧水口的同步性和延长了停留时间,减少了死区体积分数,增加了活塞区体积分数。
The water flow in the tundish with different structures was studied by means of water simulation experiment with geometrical similarity ratio of 1: 3. The mean residence time (RTD) of the molten steel in the tundish was calculated. The results show that the tundish adopts “U ” type retaining wall, the average residence time is longer, the inclusions get better development, and the response time and the peak time of the two sides are different greatly. The “V” -shaped retaining wall is more conducive to the removal of inclusions in the tundish than the “U” -shaped retaining wall, which well solves the synchronization of the nozzles on both sides and prolongs the residence time and reduces the volume fraction of the dead zone , Increase the piston volume fraction.
