在第三次全国文艺大会之后,特别是最近在我党八中全会和九中全会决议的光辉照耀下,我国文艺的发展向我们提出了许多有待研讨和明确的理论问题。在这篇文章里,我想就社会主义革命阶段文艺的教育职能问题谈谈我的一些看法。一我们一些同志经常更多地强调艺术的认识或审美职能,而不是强调其教育职能。这些同志虽然并不反对文艺应该有着教育的目的,但是他们却又认为在谈论文艺时,如果过多地谈到它的教育职能,则很可能会把文艺引向公式化、简单化,并将使它陷入教条主义的泥坑。在这里,我并不想再来重复文艺三个职能之间的有机联
