切屑厚度的求解是进一步研究切削过程机理以及实现加工过程仿真的基础.针对面铣刀正交车铣加工过程进行了研究,通过对刀刃轨迹进行简化,推导了计算几种不同形状面铣刀切屑厚度的统一公式,并结合几组具体实例与通过数值方法求得的切屑厚度进行了对比.最后,应用所建立的切屑厚度计算公式实现了对正交车铣加工切削力的仿真,并在车铣复合机床上进行了实验验证.对比仿真实例及切削力实验结果显示所给出的切屑厚度计算模型具有良好的精度和较高的计算效率.同时,统一的表达形式也使得所提出的方法适合于正交车铣加工过程通用仿真软件的开发,具有较大的工程应用价值.
