广东是我国市场经济最活跃、最发达的省份之一,受国际金融危机冲击最早,影响也最大。特别是珠三角地区由于对外依存度较高,受到的冲击和影响更大。自去年下半年以来,珠三角地区的部分劳动密集型和外向型企业面临订单减少、成本加重、效益下滑,资金周转不畅等困难,少数难以为继的企业发生欠薪、停保、裁员甚至经营者欠薪逃匿事件,劳动纠纷和群体性突发事件大幅上升。2008年10月至12月,广东省劳动保障部门处理的因劳资纠纷引发的突发事件同比上升38%,处理的30人以上群体性突发事件同比上升51%,劳动关系面临新的挑战和威胁。稳妥处理国际金融危机下的劳动关系,不仅关系广东经济能否保持平稳较快发展,也关系国家经济发展大局。
Guangdong is one of the most active and developed provinces in China's market economy, with the worst impact from the international financial crisis.
