“月落乌啼霜满天,江枫渔火对愁眠,姑苏城外寒山寺,夜半钟声到客船。”古往今来,这首歌咏千年古城的绝唱,引起多少人对苏州的无限遐思与向往;又有多少苏州人和远在海外的游子,吟诵抒发绵绵无尽的乡思和眷恋……在1997年元旦的钟声即将敲响的时候,与古诗相映成辉的千年古刹寒山寺,又迎来了一个难忘的瞬间:由苏州、香港和日本艺术家联袂演唱的《枫桥夜泊》录音带首发仪式在此举行。消息传开,祝贺叫好的人流纷至沓来。而最感欣慰的莫过于香港的周文轩先生了。作为苏州的荣誉市民和该诗的谱曲者,周先生又一次用自己的真诚,表达了对生于斯长于斯的故土
