The village administration is a group of intellectuals who research and publicize village autonomy in the early days of the Kuomintang government of Nanjing based on the “Monthly Report of Village Governance.” From the perspectives of cultural conservatism and political democracy, they elaborated on the idea of village autonomy and promoted the development of the trend of village autonomy, leaving a strong note in the history of Chinese social and political thoughts.
