一为了提高中等学校历史教学的质量,人民教育出版社历史编辑室自1954年开始,根据教育部的指示,编写中学用的新的历史教科书。编写的经过是先草拟教学大纲,然后根据教学大纲的草稿编写教科书和教学参考书。为了加强教学大纲和教科书的科学性、思想性,使它切合小学教学实际,我们尽量依靠历史科学专家和历史教师的力量,进行了一系列的座谈、访问和听课工作。例如初中一年级的历史教科书,在草拟教学大纲之前,首先访问了中国科学院历史研究所,把难于解决的科学问题提出来请教。教学大纲草拟完成以后,印发给许多历史科学专家、历史教师、高等师范学校和部分省市的教育
In order to improve the quality of history teaching in secondary schools, People’s Education Press, the history editing room, started in 1954 and wrote a new history textbook for middle school according to instructions from the Ministry of Education. Prepared by the first draft of the syllabus, and then based on the syllabus to prepare textbooks and teaching reference books. In order to strengthen the scientific and ideological nature of syllabuses and textbooks and make them suitable for the teaching of primary schools, we conducted a series of seminars, interviews and lectures to try our best to rely on the strength of history science experts and history teachers. For example, the history textbook of the first grade of junior high school first visited the Institute of History of the Chinese Academy of Sciences before drawing up the syllabus and asked for scientific solutions that were difficult to solve. After the draft syllabus was drafted, it was printed and distributed to many historians, history teachers, higher normal schools and some provincial and municipal education
