This study uses the methods of questionnaires and interviews to study the relationship between headgear career motivation and student engagement from the principal’s leadership and student achievement dimensions. The study found that students with higher vocational motivation in schools have higher identification and participation. Among them, the management and leadership concepts, school culture, teacher quality, the way to deal with student relations may be the intermediary variables. Studies have shown that intrinsic professional motivation has a positive impact on student identity and participation, and that selecting principals through reasonable means is beneficial to enhancing student identity and participation. To this end, appropriate measures must be taken to motivate the principal’s intrinsic professional motivation to promote its positive impact on students.
