波音公司与清华大学数字电视技术研究中心在2007年起合作的用于民用飞机的通信新技术研发目前已接近尾声,电力线传输的原型样机系统已经完成。该技术主要是利用现有的电力系统承担宽带数据传输的任务,可全面提高现有机载娱乐系统视频流质量并降低系统重量。这种技术最大占用48兆赫带宽,目前主要采用30~50兆赫之间的20兆赫带宽。采用清华大学提出的时域同步-正交频分复用(TDS-OFDM)技术,可传送高达108兆字节/秒的有效数据率,即可以同时传输5路MPEG-2编码的高清节目。
The research and development of communication technologies for civil aircraft that Boeing and Tsinghua University Digital Television Technology Research Center started cooperation in 2007 are now nearing completion. Prototype prototype system for power line transmission has been completed. This technology mainly utilizes the existing power system to undertake the task of broadband data transmission, which can comprehensively improve the video stream quality and reduce the system weight of the existing airborne entertainment system. This technology occupies a maximum of 48 MHz bandwidth and currently uses a 20 MHz bandwidth between 30 and 50 MHz. Using Tsinghua University’s Time Domain Synchronous-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (TDS-OFDM) technology, it delivers up to 108 megabytes per second of effective data rates for simultaneous delivery of up to 5 MPEG-2 encoded HD programs.
