Based on the advance in research by domestic and foreign scholars,the paper mainly introduces the advances of Aconitum on morphology,chemical constituents,measuring method,breeding method,medical value from two fields of fundamental and application research,and discusses the perspectives of existing problems and research directions aimed at providing basis for studying plants of genus Aconitum.
