Hospital gown is widely used in hospital baby room, isolation ward and critical care unit. In recent years, two surveys have suggested that wearing gowns actually reduces the colony rate. However, a baby room survey showed that wearing gowns had no effect on Staphylococcus aureus or infection rates. There was no difference in the number of bacterial colonies in the second survey. Surveys have also shown that wearing gowns and wearing masks has no effect on the spread of respiratory syncytial virus in pediatric patients and health-care workers, and that there is no reduction in infection rates in immunocompromised adult cancer patients. In this paper, in order to determine the impact of wearing gowns and non-isolated peasants on the infection rate among medical staff and visitors, 454 patients in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) were enrolled for one year from August 1982 to July 1983 Prospective investigation. The authors divided the survey period of 12 consecutive months into three groups according to three months: Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ, Ⅰ, Ⅲ for the observation period of wearing gowns, Ⅱ, Ⅳ for the observation period without gowns, . Two observation period of patients
