In this paper, the inverse LQ method is used to study the problem of simultaneous stabilization. First, a sufficient and necessary condition for the static output feedback of the r regular MIMO objects to be stable simultaneously is obtained. Then a solution of simultaneous state feedback stabilization is given. These conditions are given in the form of a set of coupled Riccati equations and Riccati inequalities. This paper proves that any simultaneous stabilization feedback gain can be described as a set of solutions to coupled LQ control problems with suitable cross terms
