引言摩托罗勒公司为戈达德宇宙飞行中心研制了一种距离与距离变化率跟踪系统(简称R+R系统)。其主要功能是测定卫星的初始段和轨道。系统的地面站多到三个,准确测绘定点后,可同时跟踪卫星和以三角测量精确测定轨道。星载应答器有三个通道,可同时应答三个地面站。每一地面站都能测定卫星的距离,距离变化率及方向。所用的最佳信号处理方法使应答器简单,结构严紧、重量小于10磅,辐射功率只需1瓦。系统将在远距离定位站使用,因此所设计的设备要便于运输、可靠和简单。
INTRODUCTION MOTOROLA has developed a distance and distance change rate tracking system (R + R system) for the Goddard Space Flight Center. Its main function is to determine the initial satellite and orbit. The system of ground stations up to three, accurate mapping of fixed-point, the satellite can be followed at the same time and triangulation to accurately measure the orbit. The space transponder has three channels that can answer three ground stations simultaneously. Each ground station can measure the satellite’s distance, rate of change and direction. The best signal processing method used makes the transponder simple, well-structured, weighs less than 10 pounds, and emits only 1 watt of radiated power. The system will be used at long-range positioning stations so the equipment is designed to be transportable, reliable and simple.
