广州市人民造纸厂对职工开展多种形式的思想政治教育,寓思想教育于体育、艺术文化娱乐活动之中。开展“五讲四美”活动以来,厂党委不仅利用墙报、广播进行宣传,召开职工动员大会,制定政治学习制度,而且举办以“五讲四美”,建设精神文明为内容的职工书画、诗词、摄影展览会;举行蓝球、乒乓球、拔河、棋类、射击、投弹等项目的秋季运动会;邀请省音乐协会、话剧团、歌舞团来厂演出
