由于锌铝超塑性合金强度较低,不可能用于制造锻模、挤压模之类负荷大工作条件严酷的模具。这些模具仍然必须用常规模具材料来制造。那么,是否可以在超塑性状态下对常规工模具材料进行反印法加工,从而达到简化制模过程的目的呢?研究表明,这种可能性是存在的。因为只要条件合适,不仅低碳钢甚至连工模具钢也可以处于超塑性状态。目前在锻模钢方面虽未见有关报道,但在工具材料方面则已经取得了某些进展。
Due to the low strength of zinc-aluminum superplastic alloys, it is not possible to use forging dies, extrusion dies and the like which have a heavy load and a heavy working condition. These molds still have to be made of conventional mold material. So, is it possible to reprint the conventional tooling materials in the superplastic state to achieve the purpose of simplifying the molding process? Studies have shown that this possibility exists. Because as long as the conditions are right, not only low carbon steel but also tool steel can be in a superplastic state. Although there is no relevant report on forging steel currently, some progress has been made in terms of tool materials.
