间隙连接是间隙连接蛋白构成的一种细胞间连接方式。相邻细胞间通过间隙连接介导的细胞间隙连接通讯进行信息和能量的交换,参与细胞间物质交换的代谢偶联和电信号传递的电耦联,对细胞的新陈代谢、内环境稳定、增殖和分化等生理过程有重要的调控作用。Cx43是间隙连接蛋白成员之一,与心血管疾病、肿瘤、创伤愈合及某些生殖、消化、神经系统疾病的病理及生理过程有着密切联系。现就国内外Cx43与一些疾病的关系的研究作一综述。
