近年来,新晃侗族自治县大力实施“科教兴县”战略,职教得到健康有序发展,办学规模逐步扩大,教学体系不断完善,服务能力明显增强。但新晃是一个老、少、边、贫的民族自治县,县级财政困难,职教基础薄弱,要想提高民族职业教育素质,促进经济转型发展,任重而道远。职教观念比较滞后。新晃是湖南省最西部的少数民族贫困县,职教观念仍然滞后。从社会层面看,“重普教,轻职教”的思想仍然存在。从家长层面
