陪审团裁决中的秘密性评议不断激发人们想去撩开其神秘面纱的冲动。从认知心理学以及信息交换的角度对陪审团裁决过程中的信息类型,比如证据、非证据等对陪审员裁决所产生的影响进行探讨后,我们清楚地看到,法律事实与陪审员的价值观相互交织在一起,在证据具有很强说服力时,陪审员主要依赖庭审中出示的证据做出裁决。在证据缺乏说服力时,陪审员更倾向利用非证据信息来影响其裁决。

In the absence of convincing evidence, jurors tend to use non-evidentiary information to influence their decisions.
