本文以2011年起江苏省率先实行注册入学政策后高职生源的综合素质、学习习惯和学习能力的变化为研究背景,着眼于EGP(公共英语)和ESP(职业英语)教学的有机衔接,从分析高职院校英语教学现状入手以认识英语教学在高职院校人才培养过程中的作用,并从机构、师资、教材、教法学法和评价体系构建等方面来探讨职业英语教学和公共英语教学的衔接,提高教学效率,以引起更多的重视和讨论。
This article takes the change in the overall quality, study habits, and learning ability of students from higher vocational colleges after the implementation of the registration policy in Jiangsu Province in 2011. It focuses on the organic convergence between EGP (Community English) and ESP (Professional English) teaching. Analyze the current situation of English teaching in vocational colleges to understand the role of English teaching in the process of talent cultivation in higher vocational colleges, and discuss professional English teaching and public English from the aspects of institutions, teachers, teaching materials, teaching methods and evaluation system. The convergence of teaching improves the efficiency of teaching to attract more attention and discussion.
