OBJECTIVE: To analyze the role of elevated limbs in wound healing. Methods: One hundred patients with diabetic foot ulcer admitted in our hospital from January 2016 to July 2017 were randomly divided into control group and study group. 50 patients in control group were given routine treatment and nursing. The study group On the basis of this, 50 patients were given care to raise the affected limbs and their injuries were compared. Results: (1) The wound healing rate in study group was significantly higher than that in control group (100.0% vs 84.0%, P <0.05). (2) There was no significant difference between the study group and the control group (9.21 ± 1.23) (12.58 ± 2.36), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Raising the affected limb effectively accelerates wound recovery. It not only alleviates the patient’s pain, shortens the length of hospital stay, but also reduces the economic burden on the patient. Therefore, raising the affected limb is important for wound recovery Meaning.
