论述了河势对取水防沙的重要性，结合工程实例，阐述了不同河势下取水口的布置原则，最后指出枢纽上下游整治工程对稳定河势，改善取水防沙条件的意义。
This paper discusses the importance of river potential to water abatement and sediment prevention. Combined with the project examples, the principle of water intakes in different river regimes is expounded. Finally, the significance of upstream and downstream remediation works to stabilize river potential and improve water and sand control conditions is pointed out.
