毛主席谆谆教导我们:要把马克思列宁主义哲学从哲学家的课堂上和书本里解放出来,使之变为广大干部和群众手里所掌握的尖锐武器。但是,在我们的报刊上,有相当一部分哲学论文是长、深、玄、空,这同毛主席解放哲学的这一伟大号召是不相适应的。因此,我认为,要解放哲学,把哲学变为群众斗爭的尖锐武器,必须改造哲学学风,同时也要革新哲学文风。
Chairman Mao teaches us that we should liberate Marxist-Leninist philosophy from the philosopher’s class and books and turn it into a sharp weapon at the hands of the broad masses of cadres and the masses. However, a considerable part of our philosophical essay in our press is long, deep, mysterious and empty, which is incompatible with this great call by Chairman Mao to liberate philosophy. Therefore, in my opinion, to liberate philosophy and turn philosophy into a sharp weapon in the mass struggle, we must reform the philosophical style of learning while at the same time innovating the philosophical style of writing.
