Among the new rascal literature in the United States is the work dedicated to the childhood and gangster gangs of black children in metropolitan cities, pioneered by Guiss Maori. He focused on the streets of childhood and youth rogue gangs in Oakland, his magnificent literary volume, but also includes his hometown of Mississippi, the street covers an area of the king. He captures the limits of this linguistic and geographical context, reveals the tenderness and anger among these children, and their relationship to one another. He has published “The Mouse in the Woods,” “Cold Roads,” and Short Papers The book Kids at Night integrates a bunch of energetic language that describes a new primitive race, a group of adults living off the streets with cabbage; in this anarchy society, Fight to fight group fight to survive. Though there are not many books written in Maori, his exposure in this area has drawn the attention of the American literary world.
