In this paper,we present the results on theβ-delayed fission(βDF)of ~(228)Ac.The radium was separa- ted from the mixture of the bulk of thorium and its decay products by the method of the BaCl_2 co-precipita- tion using Ba carrier.The thin solid sources(≈0.2 mg/cm~2)containing ~(228)Ra(?)~(228)Ac activities were prepared for the detection of fission tracks.At the same time,five thin sources,each containing 1.0 mg thorium,were also prepared.
