技术革命产生的信息社会中,由于信息媒介的发展与更新,人们获取信息的方式发生了改变。因此,导致审美的主体与客体的相互关系产生变化,由原来的单向接收信息到现在的交互式信息交流,人们对视觉对象的审美方式、审美需求等方面也随之从传统美学观念转变为当代数字审美观念。从信息时代的特征出发,指出了信息时代的新审美观念,同时分析了信息社会的的审美缺失。
