龙洲街道后田铺村位于龙游县城以南7公里处,村畔灵山江,村境西部是高低绵亘的丘陵山地,东部为舒缓的平原,灵山江从西南向东北流经村旁,过江村段2公里,环境优美。全村375户925人,其中党员46名、村民代表28人。全村所辖9个自然村,村域面积8.92平方公里。后田铺村始终坚持“绿水青山就是金山银山”的理念,十分重视新农村建设,近年来,更是把美丽乡村建设摆在重要位置。通过大力实施“村庄美化”“村庄绿化”“村庄亮化”“村庄硬化”等工程,
