光谱分析作为一种探测包括高速内燃机车(HST)发动机在内的各种柴油机之早期故障的常规预防性维修手段已应用多年。铁谱技术则是一种被认为在监测使用中的机油方面很有价值的较新技术。但是,几乎没有人想将它应用于柴油机。本文比较了这两种技术在高速内燃机车柴油机上的应用情况。光谱分析在每周监测的七台柴油机中的一台上发现了两个铁谱技术未能查出的问题。对另外三台光谱分析已得出了极重要结果的柴油机,铁谱技术却没有起什么作用。
Spectral analysis has been used for many years as a routine preventive maintenance measure for early detection of various diesel engines, including high-speed diesel locomotive (HST) engines. Ferrography is a relatively new technique considered to be valuable in monitoring the oil in service. However, few want to apply it to diesel engines. This article compares the application of these two technologies in high speed diesel locomotive diesel engines. Spectral analysis revealed two problems that were not detected by ferrography on one of seven diesel engines monitored weekly. For the other three spectrometers, which have yielded extremely important results, ferrography did not play any role.
