The British Sinologist translator Weili was the earliest interpreter of the Hanshan poetry. His English translation of Hanshan poetry is a silent fit that spans the limits of time and space. It also implies the author’s main intention and personal characteristics to handle the localization of the original work. In order to achieve the resonance effect of the original works and translated poems, it also shows Wei Li’s unique insights into the Hanshan poetry.
