蚊子是某些腦炎病毒傳播予人类的病媒。为了研究腦炎病毒与蚊子之間的关系(蚊体內病毒的移轉、病毒在蚊子細胞內的繁殖等),以及用来分离腦炎病毒,蚊子的組织培养是具有重要意义的。 Trager曾以馬型腦炎病毒感染生活的蚊子組织,观察到病毒的繁殖,但組織的細胞仅維持在生活的狀态下并未增殖。我們最近进行蚊子的組织培养和單层細胞培养,现將初步結果报告于下。 組織培养: 將活的蚊子(种名未鑑定)以小鑷子除去翅、脚和头部,用解剖小剪刀細心地將蚊体縱切成兩半,去其內臟,蚊子組織浸于1/1,000。HgCl_2深液中消毒10—15
Mosquitoes are vectors for the transmission of certain encephalitis viruses to humans.
