外国有句名言:“腾不出时间运动的人,早晚会被迫腾出时间生病。”运动、阳光、空气与水,是生命的四大基石。运动可以使身体的心肺、血液、消化、内分泌系统得到锻炼,对外界的反映更加灵敏,使全身肌肉、骨骼强壮,陶冶情操,回归自然。 1992年,世界卫生组织(WHO)提出:最好的运动是步行。这是因为人是直立行走的,人类的生理与解剖结构最适合步行。美国最新研究表明,适当有效的步行可以明显降低血脂,预防动脉粥样硬化,防止冠心病。步行对于患有高血脂的患者来说,不仅可以强身健体,更可以治疗疾病。
