The control of cracks in concrete structures is a multi-disciplinary system engineering. It requires design, construction, and reasonable and scientific cooperation of materials. However, even if various measures are taken, cracks in buildings are still difficult to avoid. Chemical grouting is a specialized technique for controlling the development of cracks. With the development of large-scale modern construction, countries such as Japan, the United States, France, and the United Kingdom have developed rapidly in terms of chemical grouting technology, and grouting materials have been reduced to less than 100 kinds. Supporting machine equipment has become increasingly modern. China began research on chemical grouting technology in the 1950s and in the hydropower, coal, transportation, and construction sectors in the 1960s.
