The translation of personal deixis in the translation of ancient poems is a very delicate process. This paper analyzes the use of personal pronouns in different English versions of “Ching Ming” poems from the perspective of pragmatics and pragmatic presuppositions, and expounds the beauty of personal deixis in the translation of ancient poems. Chinese classical poetry is a symbol of the bright civilization of the Chinese nation. Poets tend to outline a vivid artistic conception with only a few figures. Due to the coincidence of Chinese, together with the influence of Chinese ancient poetry by its own law, the personal pronouns are generally hidden, whereas English itself is a conjunctive language, and personal pronouns are frequently seen in sentences.
