我国大部份国产轻型载货汽车、部份旅行客车、轻型越野汽车及部份专用车,均使用492系列发动机。492系列发动机的分电器传动装置,是凸轮轴带动分电器和机油泵工作的中间传动装置。由于凸轮轴与分电器传动装置是斜齿轮传动,维修时一般对齿面磨损较重视,而忽视了分电器传动齿轮的端面磨损;又由于分电器传动轴与机油泵传动轴用销联接后可摆动,对销和销孔的磨损不易觉察,且交通部标准JT3101-81《汽车修理技术标准》和JT3119-85《北京BJ212轻型越野汽车修理技术条件》中
